![]() I noticed that people had red patches on their skin where the reflections were whereas C1, Lightroom and the in camera jpeg just showed a lot more subtle red reflection. ![]() The thing is, I was trying to edit some photos which were shot in a nightclub where there is a lot of red light. The red cloths in the Darktable conversion are a lot more saturated and you can even see that the purples are more saturated. Just open them in DPreview and switch from one to the other. I do think Iridient pays special attention to X-Trans processing while Darktable may not.Įhm the photos you uploaded show exactly what I mean. But also, in comparing results between LR, Darktable and Iridient, I can't seem to get decent output from Darktable. I'm not sure, but I don't think it will apply the built-in corrections supplied with the. I'm actually not finding Darktable to be useful. When I tried Raw conversion before with small sensor cameras (Sony RX1, Oly TG4, Panny LX10) it was difficult or impossible to equal the overall quality of JPEG results.Īny other Darktable users here, or am I barking up the wrong tree? Guess I'll try to convert some X-T2 Raw images and see what happens. ![]() The X-T20 is not yet, but might be easy to add. RawTherapee is responsive too, but I haven't bonded with it so far. Possibly it's missing some important features, but the UI seems straightforward and responsive. This algorithm seems to work well, so I downloaded the program and started it up.Ĭompared to RawTherapee, it seems easy to use. After searching I found a 2015 thread about Darktable's Markesteijn 3-pass demosaicing for X-Trans, URL below.
